Textile Longevity
& Care Protocol
Our 240+ GSM combed organic cotton is pre-shrunk through an enzymatic wash bath at the atelier. Following these four cardinal rules ensures your garment maintains its structured drape, rich color depth, and three-dimensional tactile topography through years of wear.
Cold Wash Inside-Out (30°C / 86°F)
Always invert the garment before placing it in the drum. Cold water preserves the custom reactive dyes and protects the raised 3D puff topography from friction against other textiles.
Flat Dry in Shade (Never Tumble Dry)
High tumble-dry heat causes micro-cracking in high-density plastisol puff ink and damages the natural combed cotton fibers. Lay flat on a drying rack or hang in shaded air to preserve the crisp boxy silhouette.
Reverse Low-Heat Ironing
If pressing is desired, iron strictly on the reverse side (inside-out) using medium heat without steam directly over graphics. Never touch a heated iron plate to the front artwork.
Zero Harsh Chemicals & Bleach
Use gentle, pH-neutral liquid detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach, aggressive stain removers, or fabric softeners that coat organic cotton fibers and diminish breathability.
The 1-Inch Structured Collar Guarantee
Every Aparajit Syndicate garment is engineered with a dense 1x1 double-needle ribbed collar woven with a 3% elastane memory core. Unlike standard tees that suffer from “bacon neck” after washing, this construction retains its crisp cylindrical structure even under heavy friction.
For maximum longevity, fold flat and store in a cool, dry wardrobe or use wide-shoulder wooden hangers. Thin wire hangers can stretch heavy wet fabric across the shoulder drop seams.
